Ach der Liebe Augustine – German Song sung by Carol Wernowski

My friend Carol Wernowski of Boonah plays button accordion, sings hillbilly and old-time songs and entertains extensively.  Together with her late father, Cyril, Carol and her Dad were known as ‘The Carter Family of the fassifern’.  Carol is one of the few younger palyers/singers in the tradition.

Here carol sings the old German favourite ‘Ach der Liebe Augustine’ – learnt within her family who were German pioneers of the Fassifern scrub.
