‘In dem Jahre Sechs und Sechsig’ – Old German Song
(Recorded at Minden-Lockyer Valley in November 1998)
This old German song is both sung and played, on button accordion, by Norm Boughen, Minden. Norm knew many old German songs from the Lockyer valley. This song about the ‘little and the big’ described the dreadful plagues in medieval Germany. I have only heard this song from Norm.
